Alyssa joined Ray, Mitev & Associates in August of 2016 after graduating from SUNY at Oswego in May of 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts. She majored in Public Justice and minored in Forensics. She was also a member of the National Public Justice Honor Society, alpha delta omega. Alyssa’s dedication to the law has her working towards law school. She is also a notary public.
Her previous employment with Little Flower Union Free School District is indicative of the type of person Alyssa is: smart, attentive, and responsible. Alyssa has tirelessly honed her craft since joining our firm. She oversees many of the day-to-day operations, including maintaining an open line of communication with our clients, and assisting the lawyers at Ray, Mitev & Associates with all aspects and phases of the discovery process, hearing/deposition/trial preparation, and motion work. She also assists our office manager, Samantha, with time-keeping and collections.
A collegiate athlete for SUNY at Oswego, Alyssa played four years of soccer. During the summer of 2017, she plans to join a women’s soccer league on Long Island. In the past, she has taught children how to play soccer and has volunteered with local animal shelters. Despite enjoying a good out-of-state adventure, Alyssa is a family-oriented individual who plans to stay a lifelong resident of Long Island.
