Ray, Mitev & Associates welcomed Mr. Moss in 2015. Since joining the firm, Mr. Moss has lent support to cases involving traffic infractions, real estate transactions, and free speech. He has assisted with settlement negotiations in matrimonial matters and continues to aid in various stages of ongoing discovery. A burgeoning legal writer and enthusiastic advocate, Mr. Moss helps research and develop creative strategies tailored to meet the firm’s client’s specific legal needs.
Zealously pursuing civil rights for clients, Mr. Moss has interned with organizations including the Hofstra Law School Asylum Clinic in Hempstead, New York and the Irish Traveller Movement in Dublin, Ireland. He has also interned for the Legal Aid Society of Suffolk County’s Children’s Law Bureau.
Mr. Moss graduated Stony Brook University summa cum laude with a B.A. and M.A. in Psychology. He attended the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University and graduate cum laude. He served on the board of OutLaw, the school’s LGBT legal advocacy and education organization.
During his academic career, Mr. Moss was an Executive Research Editor for Family Court Review, an interdisciplinary law journal geared towards Family Law professionals. He has been published in both law and psychological research journals, specifically:

Mr. Moss is a lifelong resident of Long Island and an avid Diet Coke drinker. He enjoys tabletop RPGs, Science Fiction and Fantasy novels, and relishes debating with Samantha over whether Castiel or the Winchester brothers (from the CW series Supernatural) are better.
